The new law that may be definitive for the electric car

The charging infrastructure is one of the biggest obstacles for the electric car, but the EU wants to solve it with a new regulation.

Electrification technology is progressing in plain sight and there are already a good number of cars on the market whose battery allows a radius of action greater than 500 kilometers.
Although the reasonable autonomy that the most popular and affordable models should have is established around 400 kilometers, a range of action that would already be quite close to what has been usual between refueling among the combustion engine. On the contrary, the electricity supply network has not grown at the same time as electric cars (EVs) and considering traveling long distances in one of them requires very precise planning given the scarcity of charging points.
