The project, which has the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment through the Biodiversity Foundation , will be developed in the communities of the Balearic Islands, Castile-La Mancha, Catalonia and Valencia to promote the transfer of knowledge and mobilization of all the actors involved to promote adaptation to the challenges posed by climate change to the vineyard sector. The partners responsible for the execution of the project are the Empresa y Clima Foundation and the Uclés Wine Association.
Among the activities planned to achieve the identified objectives of the project are the realization of a "Learning Expedition" between key actors of the different autonomous communities to share good practices of adaptation and favor the transfer of knowledge, training sessions to promote knowledge about the CC and adaptation, also informative sessions between actors from the same territory, as well as final workshops to consolidate learning and good adaptation practices.
The general objective of the project is to promote the transfer of knowledge and mobilization of all the actors involved to promote adaptation to the challenges posed by climate change to the vineyard sector, paying special attention to promoting exchange and collaboration between territorial actors. .
To achieve the general objective, specific objectives have been identified:
• Raise awareness of the global challenges arising from the effects of climate change on the sector and the opportunities in terms of adaptation, as well as the key players that can contribute
• Promote the transfer of knowledge through information, training and dissemination of good adaptation practices.
• Increase the capacity for collaboration between the main actors to promote the adaptation of the vineyard sector.
