The EU strengthens its mechanisms to tax_CO2 emissions

The European Union (EU) adopted on Tuesday a series of tools to increase carbon dioxide emissions in the community bloc, as well as a system to tax imports from outside the EU of iron, steel, cement, aluminum, fertilizers, electricity and hydrogen high in CO₂.
