Brussels finances the manufacture of 3 GW of photovoltaic and 9.3 GW of electrolysers

The Innovation Fund’s latest call, which has a budget of €4.8 billion, has selected 85 innovative net-zero projects to help implement cutting-edge clean technologies across Europe. For the first time, in this call for proposals for the year 2023, there are projects of various sizes (large, medium and small, as well as pilot projects) focused on the manufacture of clean technologies. For example, the selected projects will contribute to manufacturing 3 GW of solar PV manufacturing capacity and 9.3 GW of electrolyzer manufacturing capacity.
