Increased climate change aid will be the big battle at COP29

The debate around the increase in aid against climate change, over who pays and how much, promises to be the great diplomatic battle of COP29, which is being held in November in Baku.

The climate conference organized every year under the auspices of the UN will bring together tens of thousands of participants in the Azerbaijani capital from November 11.
The event will open with a major two-day summit of world leaders.

Experts estimate that approximately $2.4 trillion a year is needed between now and 2030 to cope with the enormous changes that are being imposed on the planet, from energy sources to climate change adaptation measures.
