Spain continues to emit as much_CO2 as in 1990

The countries of the European Union have reduced their combined emissions by 31% since 1990, a decline that has progressively accelerated over the last ten years. In Spain, however, total emissions were at levels similar to those of 1990 in 2022, according to a report by Carbon Hub Liken published today by the Naturgy Foundation. Road transport is primarily responsible for this.
