With this sixth report corresponding to 2013, we begin the series of the second period of the Kyoto Protocol (2013-2020). With this analysis of data on Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions in Spain, Europe and global macro-zones, Fundación Empresa y Clima renews its commitment to companies, administrations and society in general.
We know that this report is a good analysis tool to increase the competitiveness of our companies, in addition to taking advantage of the business opportunities offered by emission rights markets around the world. It is a work valued inside and outside our borders, hence the decision to maintain the Spanish-English format.
I would like to thank the entire Foundation team for their work and the dissemination of this report, but above all I would like to thank the Biodiversity Foundation and companies such as Gas Natural Fenosa, Rockwool, Inclam CO 2 and PwC, without whom it would not have been possible.
We hope and wish that this publication helps everyone, and especially companies so that this report helps them make strategic decisions that drive them towards a better future for all.
