One of the main objectives of the Fundación Privada Empresa y Clima is to be at the side of companies to help them make strategic decisions regarding climate change.
One more year, we fulfill our mission by presenting the fourth book in the series, corresponding to the analysis of data on verified emissions in companies subject to the European directive on emission rights, for the period 2008 to 2012, as well as data on recorded emissions in the international context.
The success of the previous works has gone beyond the Spanish sphere, and in the present work we want to reinforce its internationalization with the translation into English of the texts and tables referring to the Spanish, European and global context.
There is still a long way to go and many uncertainties to be resolved in the fight against climate change, but at Fundación Privada Empresa y Clima we will not give up our efforts to provide companies with the best tools for adapting to and mitigating climate change.
In a turbulent economic environment such as the current one, the business world cannot miss out on the opportunities presented to it in improving its current and future competitiveness, and in managing the risks derived from climate change.
Analysis tools like the ones we present in this study help visualize future scenarios and anticipate consequences that may be negative for business.
