Mapping end-of-life materials for offshore wind in Scotland.

Offshore wind has become crucial to reaching the government’s goal of Net Zero emissions of all greenhouse gases and to reducing emissions since the 1990s baseline. However, there is a long way to go in other sectors. Thus, in 2020, the energy demand of the heat sector represented 51.5% of the total energy consumed, followed by transport by 24.5% and electricity demand by 21%.
