Fossil gas. Requirements to limit global warming to 1.5ºC.

The fossil gas decline should fall to just 15% of total global electricity generation by 2030. Developed countries will need to phase it out effectively by 2035, while for developing countries, it will be phased out by the early 2040s, as developing countries will require financial, technical and, depending on circumstances, transition support from developed countries to rapidly switch to renewable energy systems.
