Renewable energy generation costs in 2019

Report from the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) highlighting a drastic reduction in renewable electricity costs due to improved technologies, economies of scale, more competitive supply chains and the growing experience of project developers . In 2019, costs have decreased by 82% for solar photovoltaic (PV) since 2010, 47% for concentrating solar power (CSP), 39% for onshore wind and 29% for offshore wind.
