Emissions Reduction Plan 2030: Canada’s next steps for a clean atmosphere and a strong economy.

In order to reduce emissions below 2005 levels by 2030, Ottawa announced new investments that will encourage incentives for zero-emission vehicles, establish tax exemptions for companies in the fossil fuel sector that adopt carbon capture technology, as well as carbon utilization and storage technologies, and work to make the Canadian power grid cleaner.
