The European Space Agency chooses Barcelona to seek solutions to climate change

It will be the first laboratory in Spain and will be installed in the Mediterranean Technology Park, in Castelldefels

Barcelona will be one of the epicentres of the European Space Agency (ESA) to study the climate crisis and propose technological solutions that can reach the market. The European organisation will open the first State laboratory of the Phi-Lab – that is, a state-of-the-art centre for research on space technologies – that can be used to “boost climate resilience” through public-private and business collaboration.
