The EU will face multi-billion dollar losses if it does not act more coherently on climate change

The EU has a strong framework for addressing the impact of climate change, but implementing adaptation policies is problematic. This is what the European Court of Auditors warns in a new report in which it states that exposing the current EU economy to global warming of 1.5 to 3 °C would mean an annual economic loss of between 42,000 and 175,000 million euros.
