A new study from the University of Copenhagen estimates that the Atlantic Circular Current could collapse by the middle of this century if greenhouse gas emissions continue, with serious consequences.
The Atlantic Circular Current (AMOC) could collapse by mid-century, or potentially anytime from 2025, if greenhouse gas emissions continue, which would have serious repercussions on the North Atlantic and global climate.
