Teresa Ribera will face her hearing in the European Parliament on November 12

The European Parliament on Thursday set a date for the hearing of the candidate for Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for a Clean, Just and Competitive Transition, as well as the head of Competition, the current Third Vice-President of the Spanish Government, Teresa Ribera. The session will take place on November 12 at 6:30 p.m., the leaders of the political groups in the European Parliament decided on Thursday, in an option supported by the European People’s Party (EPP) and the three ultraconservative and far-right groups, and which did not sit well in the socialist ranks. The decision places all vice-presidential candidates at the end of the battery of hearings to be held between 4 and 12 November, compared to the alternative preferred by the Socialists, Liberals, Greens and the left, which placed the audiences for the vice-presidents at the beginning.
