Sánchez compromises a climate change law at the beginning of the legislature

Acting Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has pledged to pass a climate change law at the start of the legislature after expressing his support for this afternoon’s Climate March in Madrid.

The official Twitter profile of the PSOE has published a message from the acting Prime Minister in support of the demonstration, which coincides with the celebration in the city of the Climate Summit (COP25).

“I sympathize with the March for the Climate and above all I want to convey to the young people that the Government of Spain throughout these 17 months has laid some bases, some pillars. As soon as the legislature gets underway, we will pass a climate change law,” Sánchez’s message reads.
