Nuclear fusion, one of the greatest achievements in history

Last week, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California announced an unprecedented milestone that may change the history of nuclear fusion. Scientists have managed, for the first time in history, to generate a clean, almost unlimited and very safe source of energy thanks to a method they have been investigating for many years: nuclear fusion.

It seemed an elusive achievement, which will allow us to leave behind nuclear energy as we knew it until now, whose danger has threatened the world on more than one occasion. This is a viable system that we will be able to use in the future, as there are still many years of development and research on one of the most important scientific achievements of the twenty-first century.
