The Nature Restoration Act passes its major scrutiny by the European Parliament

This iconic and controversial initiative has managed to move forward in the European Parliament by a narrow margin: 336 votes in favor, 300 against and 13 abstentions, to now continue its legislative process. The aim is to repair 20% of damaged terrestrial and marine ecosystems in the EU by 2030 and all of them by 2050.
