A new study by researchers at Simon Fraser University shows that efforts to reduce methane emissions are needed immediately if we are to meet global climate change goals.

Methane emissions make it impossible to comply with the Paris Agreement. A key element of the 2015 Paris Agreement, a legally binding international treaty on climate change, is a commitment to limit the rise in average global temperature. And keep them well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels.
