UN regrets US withdrawal from global cooperation on health and climate change

The organization is responding to presidential decrees signed by Donald Trump ending U.S. participation in the World Health Organization and the Paris Agreement. The exit will have a negative impact on everyone, including Americans.

UN agencies responded on Tuesday to U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive orders withdrawing the United States from international forums where key issues such as the fight for public health and the fight against the increasingly serious effects of climate change are discussed.
