80% of companies are working on linking their executive remuneration to climate objectives

CDP Corporate Health Check, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum and Oliver Wyman, presents a new annual balance sheet of companies’ progress on climate and environment at Davos 2025
The climate is also present in the income statements of companies that transfer environmental responsibility to the pockets of their managers, or rather, they will touch their pockets if they do not meet “green” objectives. This is what eight out of ten companies that are on track to achieve their climate goals are considering doing, now linking the remuneration of their managers to the achievement of these objectives, according to CDP’s first Corporate Health Check to be presented in Davos. This corporate check-up highlights the fundamental role of governance and strategic action to promote environmental progress that is being carried out, not only by managers, but also by companies.
