BRICS will add new countries: what does it mean for the United States?

A year after the countries that make up the BRICS group accepted the accession of six states, the annexation of other nations may happen again.

It is expected that it will be during the XVI BRICS Summit from October 22 to 24, in Kazan, Russia, where it will be made official which countries will join the group that emerged more than two decades ago.
According to the website of the association that began with Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, in the last year the group has aroused the interest of 23 countries to be part of the economic alliance.
Yesterday, Azerbaijan formally submitted its application to join the BRICS a month after expressing interest to China, which responded positively.
As Azerbaijan is a state with an oil industry, its possibility of being accepted into the BRICS is greater, where they seek to join economies with great weight.
