Australia and Canada Strengthen Ties on Critical Minerals

The joint work will prioritize the extraction, processing and refining of critical minerals.

Australia and Canada have agreed to jointly improve transparency and promote ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) standards. The announcement follows talks in Toronto between Australia’s Minister of Resources and North Australia, Madeleine King, and Canada’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Jonathan Wilkinson.
