Airbus is developing a hydrogen engine for its planes

• Hopes to have it ready by 2035 and accelerate the arrival of net-zero emissions aviation
• They could propel an aircraft of a hundred seats with a range of 1,850 kilometers

Airbus is developing a hydrogen fuel cell engine, with which it hopes to equip its aircraft before 2035, and thus ensure that flights have no polluting emissions.

The aeronautical company has made the announcement during the 2022 edition of Airbus Summit, which is being held this week in Toulouse (France) and Munich (Germany) to analyze the progress in sustainability achieved in the aerospace sector throughout the year, and that could accelerate the arrival of aviation with zero net emissions.
