Joint Declaration of the III BRICS High-Level Meeting on Climate Change and Sustainable Development.

The BRICS recognized the role of carbon markets as one of the drivers of climate action and encouraged strengthening cooperation and sharing experiences. They welcomed the BRICS Carbon Market Alliance as a platform dedicated to sharing knowledge, experiences and studies on the development of carbon markets and discussing possible cooperation between the BRICS on carbon markets.
