The European Parliament endorses the ‘Euro 7’ standard to reduce car emissions from 2027

The plenary session of the European Parliament has backed the new regulation that sets the standards for reducing atmospheric pollutant emissions from road transport, known as ‘Euro 7’, and which, as advocated by governments, will apply to cars and light vehicles from 2027 and not from 2025, as Brussels wanted.
