The BRICS+ in Beijing’s image

The new additions of Argentina, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Ethiopia and Iran to the BRICS forum of emerging countries definitely marks a strategy: The alliance is trying to change the global dynamics, although the bloc as such has no greater formality than the summits they hold and although it seems to be a counterweight initiative to the G7 and the other pro-Western forums, the truth is that the strategy seems to be accommodating the chips for the most powerful in the equation: China.
