The report focuses on seeing what the impacts of climate change are on security, establishing that there will be more extreme weather and more natural disasters that will put citizens at risk. More conflicts over access to resources will arise, coastlines will flood, putting civilians, military installations and economic assets at risk, and armed forces will be forced to operate in extreme heat and cold.
