Decarbonizing land transport.

In recent decades, the EU’s climate and energy policy has led to reductions in all greenhouse gas (GHG) sectors except transport. The European Green Deal states that achieving climate neutrality by 2050 entails a 90% reduction by 2050 in all GHG emissions from transport compared to 1990, taking into account that land transport accounts for more than 70% of GHG emissions from EU transport.
