Technical guidance for preparing national emissions inventories.
The EMEP/AEME Joint Air Pollutant Emissions Inventory Guidance supports the reporting of emissions data under the UNECE Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution (CLRTAP) and the EU National Emissions Ceilings Directive . Provides expert guidance on how to compile an air emissions inventory. The European Environment Agency (AEME) publishes the Guide with the CLRTAP Task Force on emission inventories and projections responsible for the technical content of the chapters.
This updated version of the 2019 Guidance is consistent with and complementary to the 2006 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) guidelines for national greenhouse gas inventory Gas Inventories.
