Commission work program for 2021: from strategy to results

The EU Commission has published the work program for 2021 to make Europe healthier, fairer and more prosperous, accelerating the transformation of its economy into one that is greener and more adapted to the digital age. This program contains 44 new political objectives classified according to the six main political priorities: 1. A European Green Deal to achieve a climate neutral Europe by 2050, 2. A Europe fit for the digital age with clearly defined 2030 digital goals related to digital connectivity, skills and public services, 3. An economy at the service of people so that the health and economic crisis does not become a social crisis 4. A stronger Europe in the world leading the global response to achieve a safe and accessible vaccine for all, 5. Promoting our European way of life in the face of COVID-19 by reinforcing the role of existing agencies and creating a new agency for advanced biomedical research and development, 6. A new impetus for European democracy with new strategies on the rights of children and people with disabilities, as well as a proposal to fight against gender violence.
