Monitoring and evaluation of national adaptation policies (NAPs) throughout the policy cycle

In this report the European Environment Agency (EEA) highlights the importance of monitoring, reporting and evaluation and brings together lessons learned on how to improve national adaptation strategies and plans going forward. The report also presents examples of how indicators can play an important role in tracking implementation progress and helping to understand the effectiveness of different approaches and measures. In addition to local and national indicators, other European-level indicators can improve the adaptation picture across the EU.
