The tourism sector: contributing to the 2030 agenda

The Sustainable Development Goals are an opportunity for the sector to integrate respectful forms of tourism. On the other hand, the Sustainable Tourism Strategy of Spain contemplates the transition of the sector towards new niches such as ecotourism, cultural tourism or food and wine tourism, alternatives to traditional tourism that represent a clear opportunity to renew the sector based on respectful alternatives.
