The role of environmental taxation.

This report first looks at past and current trends in taxes in terms of their ability to raise revenue and their use as a basis for reform programs. Second, it considers the potential to generate revenue from energy taxes and carbon pricing over the next decade and their role in achieving the EU’s goal of being climate neutral by 2050.
