The Lancet Countdown Report 2020 on Health and Climate Change.

The 2020 report of The Lancet Countdown presents the conclusions and consensus on Health and Climate Change of the 35 main academic institutions and UN agencies that comprise it. During the last 5 years, more than 40 global indicators that measure the impact of climate change on health have been monitored and reported. The breadth of indicators has deepened scientific understanding of how climate affects health and puts an emphasis on health systems. The Countdown 2020 report finds that no country is immune from the avoidable loss of life from widening inequalities, with all indicators in the report following a worsening trend.
