Horizon Europe finances industrial carbon management (ICM) to facilitate the decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries. These technologies are established processes aimed at mitigating CO₂ emissions from industrial processes. This includes capturing CO₂ emissions, using the captured CO₂ for fuel production and/or storing it geologically, for example in reservoirs.
