Although differences of opinion remain on certain points, delegations are willing to seek compromise solutions, with a view to collectively achieving the “Adjustment to Goal 55” and after the March European Council the need to maintain incentives for the ecological transition was recalled. While Member States generally support the proposal, many of them support different approaches on how to achieve these objectives.
