Among the chief sustainability officers surveyed, 63% expect global progress to remain stable or accelerate. At the organizational level, three-quarters also expect related business investments to remain unchanged or accelerate. Roughly two in three respondents say management still views sustainability from a compliance perspective, but there are signs that its role in value creation is beginning to be recognized.
