Carbon consumption patterns of the emerging middle class

German Development Institute study exploring the consumption patterns of the emerging middle classes and their carbon footprint, using unique microdata from household surveys conducted in three middle-income countries (Ghana, Peru and the Philippines). Being part of the global middle class may or may not be more important from a global perspective than being from a developing or industrialized country.
