Chemicals are integrated into all products manufactured in the EU, playing a key role in ensuring our quality of life, but our dependence leads to adverse health effects and contributes to the climate crisis. This report describes the use of chemicals in Europe’s current production and consumption systems, and analyses key chemicals policy measures.
