Emissions Gap Report 2025

The Report shows that the new Nationally Determined Contributions have a limited effect on reducing emissions, leaving warming projections well above the Paris Agreement target. The new scenarios show that limiting warming to 1.5°C is still possible, but due to the continued delay in reductions, trajectories of 1.5°C now imply a greater temporal exceedance of this target.
