How circular economy principles can affect carbon and value. UK Green Building Council (UKGBC)

The report seeks to increase understanding within the construction industry of how circularity can support carbon reductions throughout its lifetime. It also seeks to enable project decision makers and key stakeholders in the construction environment to strengthen and implement circularity. The report demonstrates that circularity benefits not only carbon, but meets a much broader set of organizational, social, environmental and financial objectives. The research also provides an example of case studies that demonstrate the positive impact circularity is already having on new and existing projects in the UK.
