The report highlights that last year saw the highest number of days under heat waves, energy prices reached record highs and the negative balance of the energy trade balance doubled, while greenhouse gas emissions increased by 3% compared to 2021, emissions from the electricity sector increased by more than 10% and electricity production through combined cycles increased by more than 50%.
