Methane matters

Although more than 150 countries have committed to a 30% absolute reduction in methane emissions by 2030, methane emissions are rising. This report first calculates the methane footprint and analyzes the reduction targets and plans of 52 of the world’s largest meat, dairy and rice companies, which account for 12% of total agricultural methane emissions, reflecting the relative fragmentation of the sector.
