The Commission has adopted its work programme for 2024, which emphasises simplifying rules for citizens and businesses across the Union. The work programme reflects the achievements of the past four years, summarises the Commission’s new proposals and presents important initiatives aimed at reducing bureaucracy. Some of these simplification initiatives have already been presented, while others are presented now or will be presented at a later date.
