Increasing carbon dioxide removal: Recommendations for managing opportunities and risks in the EU.

The EU is committed to achieving climate neutrality and to do so it must reduce emissions and offset them with mitigation alternatives. The Scientific Council makes nine recommendations, which address both temporary and permanent removals, including technologies such as bioenergy with carbon capture and storage and direct carbon capture and storage in the air.
