Despite signs of accelerating climate risks and impacts around the world, the financing gap for adaptation is widening, while financing needs are greater. This is the main conclusion of an assessment to provide up-to-date information on estimates of adaptation costs and needs in developing countries, as well as the necessary international financial flows.
