1.5°C Pathways for the EU-27: accelerating climate action to deliver on the Paris Agreement

This report concludes that, to be compatible with 1.5°C, the EU-27 would have to reduce its national emissions faster than currently anticipated. The 1.5°C-compatible pathways assessed in this report and filtered to meet sustainability constraints show that the EU27 can reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 63-73% below 1990 levels.
