The first renewable hydrogen auction starts rolling in the EU

The European Commission puts into play 800 million euros for new hydrogen projects with a maximum price of 4.5 €/kg produced

The European Hydrogen Bank is about to become a reality. The European Commission has announced the terms and conditions of what will be the first renewable hydrogen auction in the European Union.
And if this European commitment to hydrogen can be described as something, it is to be competitive with what the US offers through its IRA Act.
